SG60 Vouchers Rollout Begins in July: Here’s How Singaporeans Can Claim Their Share

Starting this July, Singapore citizens aged 21 and above will be able to claim their SG60 vouchers — part of the government’s SG60 package announced during Budget 2025. The vouchers, which range from S$600 to S$800 depending on age group, aim to support Singaporeans with daily expenses while celebrating the nation’s 60th year of independence.

What Are SG60 Vouchers?

The SG60 vouchers are a special one-off benefit offered to all Singapore citizens aged 21 and above in 2025. This initiative is designed not only to help ease the cost of living but also to reward citizens for their contributions to the nation’s growth and success.

How Much Will You Receive?

  • Singaporeans aged 60 and above in 2025 will receive S$800 worth of SG60 vouchers.

  • Singaporeans aged 21 to 59 will receive S$600 worth of vouchers.

The vouchers can be used across thousands of local businesses, including heartland merchants, hawkers, and major supermarket chains that accept CDC vouchers.

Claiming Your SG60 Vouchers: What You Need to Know

When Can You Start Claiming?

The voucher rollout is happening in two phases:

  • From July 1, 2025: Citizens aged 60 and above can begin claiming their S$800.

  • From July 22, 2025, at 10am: Citizens aged 21 to 59 can begin claiming their S$600.

The government opted for a staggered release to give priority to older Singaporeans, allowing grassroots teams and digital support services to focus resources on helping seniors claim their vouchers smoothly.

How to Claim Your SG60 Vouchers

Claiming the vouchers is a straightforward, fully digital process. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit go.gov.sg/sg60v.

  2. Log in using your Singpass account.

  3. After logging in, you will receive a unique SMS from Sender ID: gov.sg with a secure voucher link.

  4. Click the link to access and use your vouchers instantly at participating outlets.

If you are not comfortable with digital processes, assistance is readily available. Seniors can visit Community Clubs (CCs) or SG Digital Community Hubs for in-person help.

Where Can You Use SG60 Vouchers?

The SG60 vouchers can be used until December 31, 2026, at all businesses that currently accept CDC vouchers.

The total voucher amount is split into two categories:

  • 50% for spending at hawkers and heartland merchants

  • 50% for spending at participating supermarkets

To check the updated list of participating outlets, visit: go.gov.sg/sg60voucher.

Postcard Reminder and QR Code Access

In addition to digital access, every eligible Singaporean will receive a specially designed SG60 postcard by mail:

  • Seniors aged 60 and above will receive their postcard from July 1.

  • Those aged 21 to 59 will get theirs from July 22.

Each postcard features artwork by artists with different abilities, and includes a personal message from Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. On the reverse side, there’s a QR code that recipients can scan to claim their SG60 vouchers — a convenient way to bridge digital access with tangible outreach.

No Banking Details Required: Be Scam Aware

Singaporeans are reminded to stay vigilant against scams. The government will never request banking information or ask for payment when distributing SG60 vouchers. All legitimate communications will come from “gov.sg”.

If you receive suspicious messages or are unsure about a link, do not click on it. Always verify through official websites or check with your local Community Club.

Supporting Every Singaporean, Digitally and Personally

Speaking about the launch, Mayor of the South West District Low Yen Ling emphasized the importance of digital inclusion. “We really want to encourage our fellow Singaporeans of all ages to claim the SG60 voucher digitally from the comfort of their home,” she said, noting that dedicated help will be available for seniors who are less tech-savvy.

This thoughtful rollout ensures that all Singaporeans — regardless of age or digital literacy — can access their benefits and enjoy greater spending power in daily life.

Looking Ahead: A Celebration of Nation and Community

The SG60 voucher initiative is more than just financial assistance. It’s part of a larger effort to celebrate Singapore’s 60 years of nationhood by ensuring every citizen feels included, appreciated, and supported.

By enabling access to essential goods and services through local vendors and supermarkets, the government aims to stimulate local business while helping Singaporeans stretch their budgets further.
