How to Claim Your $600 SG60 Vouchers Starting July 22: Everything You Need to Know

The Singapore Government has launched a major nationwide initiative to thank citizens for their contributions and to commemorate the nation’s 60th year of independence. Starting July 22, 2025, Singaporeans aged 21 to 59 can begin claiming their $600 SG60 vouchers.

This is part of a broader move to share the fruits of national progress and inject support into local businesses across the island.

Here’s everything you need to know about the SG60 voucher scheme, how to claim yours, and where to use them.

What Are SG60 Vouchers?

The SG60 vouchers were introduced as part of the Singapore Government’s Budget 2025 speech, delivered by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on February 18. The scheme is designed to honour the contributions of Singaporeans and to promote spending within the heartlands and community spaces.

The voucher scheme is a one-time government initiative in celebration of SG60, Singapore’s 60th year of independence, and mirrors earlier schemes such as the CDC Vouchers, which were similarly aimed at supporting local spending.

Who Is Eligible?

Starting July 22, Singaporeans aged 21 to 59 in 2025 can claim $600 worth of SG60 vouchers. These are digital vouchers and must be claimed through the official government portal:

go.gov.sg/sg60v

Earlier in July, seniors aged 60 and above became the first to benefit from the programme. According to Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling, more than 915,000 seniors—representing over 83% of eligible older Singaporeans—have already claimed their $800 worth of vouchers since July 1.

Where Can You Use the SG60 Vouchers?

The vouchers can be used at:

  • Over 23,000 hawker stalls and heartland merchants
  • Eight major supermarket chains with 400 outlets across Singapore

Each voucher package is split evenly:

  • Half is designated for use at supermarkets
  • The other half can be used at hawkers and neighbourhood shops

This structure is similar to the CDC voucher programme and is intended to support local businesses, especially those embedded in everyday community life.

You can find a full list of participating outlets on the official site:

Validity Period

Once claimed, the SG60 vouchers are valid until December 31, 2026, giving Singaporeans over a year to redeem their vouchers and use them at eligible merchants.

How to Claim Your SG60 Vouchers

The vouchers are claimed digitally via RedeemSG, using Singpass for verification. There is no need to submit any banking or credit card information. The process is designed to be secure and accessible.

To redeem:

  1. Visit go.gov.sg/sg60v
  2. Log in using your Singpass
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to claim your vouchers
  4. The vouchers will be stored digitally for use at participating merchants

SG60 Postcards and Artworks

As part of the national celebration, every eligible Singaporean will also receive a specially designed SG60 postcard. The card will feature six artworks created by seven differently abled artists, and a personal message from Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

This initiative blends artistic expression with national pride, and aims to create a more inclusive celebration that recognises all members of society.

Economic and Social Impact

So far, more than $127.6 million worth of SG60 vouchers have been spent by seniors alone:

  • $76.6 million at hawkers and heartland businesses
  • $51 million at supermarkets

This shows that the initiative is not only a meaningful gift to citizens but also a boost for local commerce.

Senior Minister Low Yen Ling noted that it has brought communities closer together. Many individuals, including volunteers, CDC ambassadors, and SG Digital Office staff, have helped others navigate the digital claiming process, especially among the elderly population.

Important Reminders

  • Be cautious of online scams. Claiming SG60 vouchers does not require any bank details.
  • Use only the official government website go.gov.sg/sg60v to claim your vouchers.
  • Encourage friends and family to support local businesses with their vouchers.

Looking Ahead to National Day

With National Day around the corner, the SG60 voucher scheme is a timely way to foster unity, gratitude, and community support. Whether you’re buying a meal from your neighbourhood hawker, shopping for groceries, or helping someone claim their vouchers, this initiative is all about celebrating Singapore’s journey together.

Be sure to claim yours and make the most of them before the December 31, 2026 deadline.
